Dorm, such a nice place ever! ~Writing Essay: My favorite place~

Do you know a dorm for exchange students from KGU overseas?? If yes, you are nice, but even if you don't know it, it is okay! It is because I'm going to introduce about it this time. My favorite place is the dorm, so I can tell about it to you as much as I know. It is included good points and some kind of bad points. Are you ready to start? Alright, let's start!

First of all, let me introduce people living there. Right now, there are about 25 people in the dorm. And they came from the US, Canada, England, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, and Chinese. Some people live there for about 1 year, other people live there for about 6 mouths. It depends on each student. In almost every weekend, they hold a party to get drunk, or they go to downtown to get drunk as well. If I'm in a party with them drinking alcohol, I can speak English much better than now somehow, which is called "飲むゅニケーション" stands for "nomu(飲む)" and "communication".

Second, I'm going to talk about the reason why I go to the dorm. But before that, let me talk about my experience. It was last year's maybe May that I went there for the first time. One of the exchange students at that time forced me to come there in order to eat a cuisine, I mean his cooking. Even though I could really nice time with him at that time, but I was afraid of going there several times because I was not familiar with the exchange students and the dorm. But it's getting better and better, and I'm not afraid of going there any more. Now I'm going there to chill out, to talk with them, to drink, to learn English and Korean, and so on. When I talk with them in English, my English skills are getting better little by little even if I'm not drunk. There's a lot of opportunities to hang out with them. For example, if you are friends with any of them, you might be invited to somebody's birthday party, and you can be friends with other exchange students! That's why I go there.

Third, there are some events in the dorm. As I said right before above, for instance, some people hold a birthday party, what is more, welcome/farewell party, Halloween party, just getting drunk party, and so on are held. Every party is quite fun, one is kinda sad though. And we Japanese can invite them to a party outside of the dorm like downtown. We can hang out anytime we like with them It's depending on them though... However, there's one bad thing for exchange students and us visitors. It is the curfew which is till 0:00am. No one can break it, and if exchange students don't go back home, they are scolded by a caretaker of the dorm. It's soooo strict, isn't it? But it is the rule, so every visitor has to keep that as well.

As a conclusion, I've been having quite fun time with exchange students since I went there for the first time. And I keep going there whenever I can because I can learn many good things for me, can drink with them, and can be good friends with them! What is more, this is kind of origin place to start communicate with exchange students. If I didn't meet the man who forced me to go to the dorm, I don't write about the dorm. When I go there, I just feel like everything is going to be okay I don't know why. So why don't you go to the dorm? You don't know where it is? That's okay, just feel free to ask me. When you are there, everything is going to be alright!

Tired, but so much fun!

Yesterday, I went to Aso with 11 exchange students, 7 elder students (How do you say "先輩" in English, by the way?), and 6 friends!! Actually, we were supposed to go to Otachimisaki(御立岬), but, you know, it was raining yesterday. So we did have to change the plan. Some of exchange students said that we reallly want to swim! But it's totally impossible to swim in the sea, right? So we decided going to pool in Aso.

Firstly, we went to Kodaino-sato(古代の里) by using 7 cars in order to enjoy BBQ. Nobody knew where is the place. But 2 drivers had car navigation system, so we followed them, I navigated my friend with a map just in case though because I can read a map. We depart for the BBQ place at about 11:00am, and it took about 2 hours. But it is OK because we could enjoy driving each other.

Right after arriving, we started BBQ! Yaaaaaaaaaay! I love meat, meat, meeeeeaattttt!!!! 肉ーーーーー!!!haha These are the pictures of BBQ.

So nice huh?

After BBQ, we went to a pool for some of us. I didn't swim because I didn't have swimming suit and money to borrow it. Besides, we do have to wear swimming cap when we swim. We didn't know that thought, it SUCKED, but everyone looked like funny. Like this →
And everyone played a water slider. Hey, it's not swimming anymore!
During they were swimming, the rest people took a break because we were tired. We chatted, ate ice cream, and slept like this↓

After that, we went back to dorm, and had a dinner, Gay...oops! Homo-ben(ほも弁)! I ate 비빔밥(Pibimpab - ビビンバ)! It was good though, it took a but long time to eat it up. Then, we celebrated one exchange student's 21st birthday! Yaaaay, Happy Birthdaaay!! You can drink in your country finally! I went to Jeff's world bar after that, but I went back home at 11:15pm.

I was freaking tired, not as much as drivers, though, it was so much fun day! On summer vacation, I really want to go to beach with friends, of course on sunny day, and I want to swim!

Going to the dorm

I went to the dorm for four straight days this week. I often go to there just for fun, but in this week, it made me tired.

As you know, I'm tired these days, so I just wanted to get rid of my tiredness at the dorm. However, I was wrong. Going to the dorm makes me more tired because people living there are really energetic!! They often talk a lot, often play games, and often go outside! It's hard for me that I do that with them.

I need take a holiday. I shouldn't go there, but I want to spend time with them. I want to improve my English and Korean skills. I can't improve them by myself, I mean, I need native's help.

I'm tired. Really!

By the way, I went to the dorm to inform Rob about what day and time we are going to take pictures of the English Lounge. I taught him about it, so we can be taken the picture of English Lounge.
And I have other thing to write. I watched some videos of Human Beatbox in the dorm. They were really amazing! I can't play like that! You should watch it once. You can find some awesome videos on YouTube, if you search by "beatbox". I'm not good at HBB, but I like playing it. During I play it, I can be fine!

March 17th Blog

I forgot to write about my birthday yesterday. Yesterday, after I posted, I went to the dorm by myself. I met Dan and Robert, and we played the Super Mario Cart 64. It was fun!! I like playing video games.
During we were playing the game, 2 of new students from Korea came to here. And we became friends soon!! I was very happy because I didn't think we could be friend so quickly! They are very very fine and they can speak Japanese very very well.
After playing the game, I met 2 new students from Montana State University, Zack and Cole. I also became their friend, and they celebrated my birthday!! I'm such a lucky boy!!
And then, Dan, Robert, Brendan, and I went to Joyfull to eat dinner. I ate chicken doria. It was good, what is better, Brendan bought me the meal. Besides it, Jessie gave me a cake!! I'm soooo happy!!
Many friends celebrate my birthday in many ways. I'm such a lucky boy as I said.
I'll never forget this day. I will celebrate my friends birthday!

By the way, I began to work at Nabeshima in Asoda from 6th on this month as a waiter. It's hard to work, and I have to memorize many things like menu, greeting, and things I need to work at the restaurant. I have holiday today and tomorrow, but I have to go there from Wednesday till Sunday. I think I will be tired...but it's OK because I can get some money!!

Anyway, I'm good these days as usual. I'm waiting a gift from a Korean girl, but maybe she didn't send me the gift.

All right, see you!
